Meet Dr. Chad Watts, Board Certified Orthodontist

Dr. Chad Watts is a board-certified orthodontist and the founder of Rangewood Orthodontics. With over 20 years of experience, Dr. Watts is passionate about changing people's lives through their smiles. He attended Gonzaga University and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Biology. After graduating from Oregon Health Sciences University with a Doctorate of Dental Medicine, Dr. Watts served as a comprehensive dentist for our Army and Air Force troops at Elmendorf AFB, AK. He was accepted into the military’s highly competitive Tri-Services Orthodontic Residency Program, in San Antonio, TX, where he graduated from Wilford Hall Medical Center. Dr. Watts and his family then spent three years in Misawa, Japan, where he served as the Chief of Orthodontics, serving Army, Navy, and Air Force members and their families.

Dr. Watts is a proud member of several professional organizations, including the American Board of Orthodontists, the American Association of Orthodontists, the Damon® Study Club, the Invisalign Study Club, the American Dental Association, the Colorado Dental Association, the Colorado Association of Orthodontists, the Colorado Springs Dental Society, the Colorado Orthodontic Foundation, and the Smile for a Lifetime Foundation.
Family and Community
Outside of work, Dr. Watts spends his free time with his wife Jenee and their five amazing kids. He is passionate about outdoor activities like soccer, lacrosse, and fly fishing. He and his wife Jenee founded the El Paso County chapter of Smile for a Lifetime, providing free orthodontic treatment for children in need. They also volunteer as orthodontists for Kids in Need of Dentistry and are active in multiple schools in Colorado Springs, Fountain, Manitou Springs, Monument, Castle Rock, and Woodland Park.
